Monthly Fee

Yearly fees are based on a 12 month basis. The renewal date will be on the day your account was initially setup. This may or may not be the same day your domain name registration is due.

Disk Space

A typical small business webpage occupies approximately between 5 and 50MB. By design, webpages are small in size for fast loading over a variety of connection speeds. Unless your website has several interactive databases and gobs of javascript, you shouldn't need more than 100MB.

If you have a special need for more disk space than I offer above, send me an email with your requirements, and I'll arrange for more space---the price of which can be negotiable.

Data Transfer

This is the amount of data that transfers over the Web when visitors visit your site. For example, when you pointed your browser to this site, you downloaded approximately 100KB. If my data transfer limit was 1GB, then I could serve my page to 10,000 visitors in one month.

Unless your site offers things like MP3 or Video downloads or receives thousands of visitors per month chances are data transfer will never even be an issue. If it becomes an issue, I will adjust your data transfer accordingly to a point.

As a rule of thumb, 500 MB of data transfer is usually equivalent to approximately 20,000 page views. If you think you need more data transfer than this, my service is probably not the right one for you. Send me an email and I can recommend an alternative.
